In Vilamoura, the main class of the day has just been ridden. It was a 1m45 of the CSI3* competition in which riders competed against each other and against the clock. The Belgian rider François Mathy Jr. stood on the lead for a very long time, but in the end it was Lily Attwood who jumped to the victory. She counted on Cor-Leon vd Vlierbeek Z to clear the course in 59,35 seconds.

François Mathy Jr therefor had to take peace with the second place. He and Casanova de L'Herse (f. Ugano Sitte) cleared the course in 59,88 seconds. Pius Schwizer and Cortney Cox (f. Carlo) completed the podium after a clear round in 60,53 seconds.
