In Lier, the CSI3* Grand Prix has just been ridden. 11 of the 60 starting combinations managed to jump a clear first round and came back for the all-deciding jump-off.
In that jump-off, the Dutch rider Maikel van der Vleuten, who has been in great shape lately, took the victory home. He rode Beauville Z clear to the finish in 35,24 seconds. Titouan Schumacher and Atome Z (f. Amadeus Z Brimbelles) ended on second place. They kept the zero on the score board and finished in 35,28 seconds. Pieter Clemens completed the top three. he rode Icarus, a BWP gelding, to the finish in 36,32 seconds, leaving the wood untouched.
Marcus Ehning (Misanto Pret A Tout) and Jur Vrieling (Km Chalcedon) followed on respectively fourth and fifth place.
