In Courlans, France, there is jumping at CSI4* level this weekend. Today's main event was a 1m50 class run over two rounds. The best thirteen combinations from the first round were allowed to compete again in the second round. In the second round it came down to having the fastest clear round. Mariano Martinez Bastida brilliantly succeeded in this task, leaving all competitors behind him by riding Belano vd Wijnhoeve Z (by Berlin) clear in 46.92.
Adeline Lemens and Austin des Cedres (by Diamant de Semilly) took home second place. They recorded a clear round behind their name in 50.94 seconds. Elia Simonette and Li La BO (by Uriko) completed the top three after a clear second round in 50.99 seconds.
The rest of the top five went entirely to Italian riders. Giulia Martinengo Marquet rode Captain Morgan Weering Z (by Carrera VDL) to fourth place while Filippo Bassan took home fifth with Cerruti de Kreisker (by Conrad).
