Opinion: the cancellation of the European Championships was a premature decision

The European Championship of 2021 will not take place. The FEI recently announced this in a communication. They state that it is not possible to organize two major championships in one year. The Olympic Games, which should normally have taken place this summer, are therefore given priority. But was cancelling the Europeans not mainly a premature decision?
