Scott Brash takes first CSI5* victory of Valkenswaard

The first CSI5* class of the weekend has just been jumped in Valkenswaard. 49 riders entered the show ring for this 1m40 class that was ridden in two phases but in the end it was the British top rider Scott Brash who took the victory home. He counted on Hello Mr President (f. Comme d'Api vd Hacienda Z) to clear the course in 25,68 seconds. Marlon Modolo Zanotelli and Icarus (f. Douglas) ended on second place. They jumped a clear round and finished in 26,27 seconds.  Shane Breen and Compelling Z (f. Chellano Z) completed the podium after a clear round in 26,57 seconds. 

Henrik von Eckermann (Fancy Me) and Denis Lynch (Rubens LS la Silla) ended on fourth and fifth place.
