Von Eckermann and Hassmann share victory in main class Opglabbeek

In Opglabbeek a 1m40 class was just jumped as the main class of the day. No less than 134 participants competed in this section which was ridden directly against the clock. They worked with two classifications.

The victory in the first series went to the Swedish top rider Henrik von Eckermann. He rode Fancy ME (by Forsyth Frh) clear to the finish in 65.53 seconds. The second place was for Jeroen de Winter. He counted on Iron Lady van't Meulenhof (by Parco) to ride to the finish in 68.02 seconds. Brecht Goossens and Hero van Heiste (by Flipper d'Elle) completed the top three after a clear round to the finish in 68.10 seconds. Jan Andre Schulze Niehues (Coolinksy ML) and Siebe Kramer (Evermeta) completed the top five.

In the second series Felix Hassmann rode to victory. He counted on Sig Black Panther (by Kannan) to jump a clear round in 67.74 seconds. Bertram Allen finished in second place. He was able to keep the clear in the saddle of Pacino Amiro (by Pacino) and finished in 68.05 seconds. Evelyne Putters and Angel van't Hof (by Chin Chin) completed the top three after a clear round in 68.41 seconds.

Katrin Eckermann (Barcelona) and Thibeau Spits (Felotti VDL) finished on places four and five.
