In Lanaken, the day started with the consolation for 7-year-old horses. In this class there was a direct jump against the clock and the American Stefanie Saperstein jumped to victory. She relied on the Zangersheide mare Honesty CTV Z (by Hoegie van't Bergske) to jump a clear round in 59.23 seconds.
Hendrik Denutte provided the best Belgian performance. He rode Nevada Quality Z (by Numero Uno) clear in 59.24 seconds. Patrick Mc Entee and Artiste Mury Marais Z (by Aktion Pur Z) were third. They left the wood untouched and finished in 59.24 seconds.
Charlotte Bettendorf (Salt Lake City) and Benny Naessens (Kannavara Z) followed in fourth and fifth places.
