Yuri Mansur and Vitiki charm the crowd in 1.55m Basel. "It's good to have Vitiki back!"

The Golden Drum, a 1.55m international main class attracted a full hall at the CHI Basel. In this international CSI5* class only six combinations qualified for the Jump-Off. In the end, first at the start, Yuri Mansur and his trusted Vitiki conquered the class!

Yuri Mansur and his 16-year-old Vitiki (Valentino, breeder: ZG Karl-W. Stapel & Jürgen Wahlers) were the first to start in the jump-off. The pair set the tone with a flawless round in 33.89 seconds. No one managed to improve the time. "When I walked the course, I thought it was really, really technical," Mansur said. "It is good to have Vitiki back performing, certainly in courses like these..."

Denis Lynch ultimately followed in second place with Dark Chocolate 48 (Casall).

Pieter Devos and the nine-year-old BWP mare, Casual DV Z (Cornet Obolensky), completed the top three. Only the podium completed the jump-off without faults. With one jumping fault, Steve Guerdat followed in fourth place with Looping Luna (Lord Fauntleroy). Kevin Jochems eventually landed in fifth place with the 10-year-old Camilla van de Helle (Crumble).
