The 2024-2025 Jumping World Cup season promises to be another exciting and intense year for the top of our show jumping. The Western European League is the most packed and competitive of all in this regard, with 14 qualifiers, seven of which count towards the final ranking. These competitions will form the basis for the battle for the coveted spots in the final, which will continue at the St. Jakobshalle in Basel (SUI) from April 2-6, 2025.
The 2024-2025 Jumping World Cup season promises to be another exciting and intense year for the top of our show jumping. The Western European League is the most packed and competitive of all in this regard, with 14 qualifiers, seven of which count towards the final ranking. These competitions form the basis for the battle for the coveted spots in the final, which will continue at the St. Jakobshalle in Basel (SUI) from April 2-6, 2025.
The season begins with the in Oslo (NOR) from Oct. 16 to 20, 2024, followed by another qualifier in Helsinki (FIN) from Oct. 24 to 27, 2024. After that, the circuit moves to Lyon (FRA), where from Oct. 29 to Nov. 3, 2024, riders will have another chance to collect valuable points.
The competition continues with stops in some of Europe's biggest cities, such as Verona (ITA) from Nov. 7 to 10, 2024, and Stuttgart (GER) from Nov. 13 to 17, 2024. After a short break, the riders will head to Madrid (ESP) from Nov. 28 to Dec. 1, 2024, followed by a second Spanish leg in La Coruña from Dec. 6 to 8, 2024.
At the end of the year there are two more important indoor competitions in London (GBR) from Dec. 17 to 22, 2024, and the famous Mechelen (BEL) competition from Dec. 26 to 30, 2024. Both events attract large crowds every year and are a highlight of the international calendar.
The new year will begin with the competition in Basel (SUI), from Jan. 9 to 12, 2025, after which the riders will proceed directly to Leipzig (GER), from Jan. 15 to 19, 2025. Amsterdam (NED) will host the penultimate qualifier of the season from Jan. 23 to 26, 2025, followed by the last chance for qualification in Bordeaux (FRA) from Feb. 6 to 9, 2025.
The final stop of the Western European League will take place in Gothenburg (SWE) from Feb. 19 to 23, 2025. This competition will be decisive for the final ranking and will determine which riders qualify for the grand final of the World Cup season.
With 14 intense qualifying competitions and only seven results counting toward the final ranking, it will be a season full of exciting moments and nerve-wracking competition.
