Dutch horses dominate Al Ain's 1* Grand Prix

The international CSI1* Grand Prix in Al Ain has been claimed by Saudi Arabia's Abdulrahman Bader Alrajhi and the KWPN-horse Varo M (Pierrot  x Weinfurst). In a jump-off with seven E. Meyer's 15-year-old breeding product jumped a clear finish in 38.62 seconds. Ramzy AL Duhami followed his compatriot as runner-up with the KWPN-sire, Deejay (Contendro I x Clinton). Al Duhami crossed the finish in 38,80 seconds. Only four combinations produced a double clear round. Portugal's Miguel Maria Bravo and Cit Cat (Cartani 4) placed third while Nadia Abdul Aziz Taryam and Corado 10 (Cassus 2) finished fourth just outside the stage. The top five was completed by Waseem Shamdeen and the KWPN-gelding Cooper PS (Quasimodo Z x Cavalier). The pair set the record time of 38.57 seconds, but jumped one rail down.
