Chilli Morning officially retired to focus on breeding
William Fox-Pitt had already let the world know that the Olympics in Rio would be the last international event for his top stallion Chilli Morning. Now West Kington Stud lets everyone know the retirement is final and Chilli will only be used for breeding.

“We are thrilled to announce that we will be standing the great Chilli Morning at stud this season.” is writen on the Facebook page of West Kington Studs

Chilli is the most successful stallion in British Eventing history, having won Badminton CCI**** in 2015, been Individual Bronze Medallist at both the 2013 European Championships and 2014 WEG and had numerous other wins up to CCI*** level. After finishing as ‘Best of The Brits’ at Rio 2016 he retires to stand for his first full season at stud.

Chilli’s foals and youngsters have repeatedly impressed at BEF Futurity evaluations with many Elite and First Premium scores being awarded. Pentire Chilli Edge holds the record for the highest score ever in the eventing section, with a 9.46 awarded as a foal in 2013.

Chilli Morning will be available by Fresh, Chilled and Frozen semen throughout the 2017 breeding season.
