The nine year old stallion was sold with input from an American connection and will make his way to the stables of Irish showjumper Shane Sweetnam. It's not yet known if it's Sweetnam himself who will take place in the saddle or one of his students. Sweetnam is located with his Sweet Oak Farm in America's Wellington, Florida.
Malfait told to Equnews about the sale: "I regret that I have to let him go, but i've got great expectations for him. Im expecting that he will be competing at the highest level soon. I would like to wish his new rider a lot of succes with this amazing horse."
The pair was last competing in Belgium's Bonheiden in the 1m45 competition. In the Grand Prix last march they ended up in eight place. In december last year they also ended up in fourth place during the CSI of Lier.
