Fibonacci retired from the sport

Aged only 14-years-old, Fibonacci (For Feeling x Corland) will now retire from the sport. In his career the white gelding jumped together most of his successes under the saddle of Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum.

Fibonacci was developed at an international level by Sweden's Stephanie Holmen. After it was Germany's Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum  who took over the reins. The pair jumped to a silver team medal at the European Championships in 2015 in Aachen. One year later the combination claimed the bronze team medal at the Olympics in Rio.

They also won the CSI5* Grand Prix in Wellington. Since 2017 it was USA's Lillie Keenan who competed the white gelding jumping to her first Grand Prix victory.

Fibonacci will enjoy his retirement at Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum's yard.
