Former Charlotte Motor Speedway SVP named chief revenue officer of Equestrian Sport Productions

Dan Farrell has been named Chief Revenue Officer of Equestrian Sport Productions, LLC (ESP). After seventeen years with Charlotte Motor Speedway, most recently as Senior Vice President of Corporate Sales, Farrell will be responsible for identifying, initiating and closing revenue opportunities at the Palm Beach International Equestrian CenterTryon International Equestrian Center, and The Colorado Horse Park. Responsibilities will include sponsorship, special events, corporate events and a variety of guest experiences.



Farrell will also be responsible for the same business opportunities for the FEI World Equestrian Games™ 2018 Tryon. Tryon International Equestrian Center will host the renowned sporting event from September 10th through 23rd of 2018. Based on results from previous FEI World Equestrian Games, the global event is expected to attract more than 500,000 attendees from over 70 nations during the two-week period.

TEP Chief Operating Officer of Carolina Operations Sharon Decker echoed Bellissimo's sentiments.

A sports management graduate of SUNY Courtland, Farrell has spent more than 20 years in sports sponsorship sales. He joined Charlotte Motor Speedway in May 1999 as Director of Sales for the Performance Racing Network (PRN) before being promoted to his most recent position in 2002. As Senior Vice President of Corporate Sales, Farrell led a team overseeing corporate sponsorships and entertainment, corporate event rentals and account management for properties including NASCAR, NHRA, World of Outlaws, concerts, and special events including the World Premier of Pixar's "Cars" and Ford Mustang's 50th Anniversary.
