Future talents in The Youngsters Auction including three-quarter sister of WB Lyon winner Chaplin

The Youngsters Auction has again selected a number of exceptionally talented three-year-olds for the auction on Tuesday, November 23. Besides jumping qualities the pedigrees of the auction horses predict a bright future. For example, Nacaltha WS is part of the collection of The Youngsters Auction; Nacaltha WS is the three-quarter sister of Chaplin, who won the Lyon World Cup last weekend under Martin Fuchs. Nacaltha WS is a daughter of Verdi out of the half-sister of the KWPN approved Chaplin. Also top stallions like Chacoon Blue, Comme Il Faut, Thunder van de Zuuthoeve and Apardi are represented with offspring in the collection.

For the 4th edition, The Youngsters Auction has focused entirely on three-year-old show jumpers. "In our previous editions we have experienced that the demand for carefully selected three-year-old show jumpers is high and for this edition we have decided to focus exclusively on this category. In May of 2022 we will organize another auction, completely focused on ridden sport horses," said auction organizer Peter van der Waaij.

Tesla Z: sister of Kaleche out of sister of Aris

The collection for Tuesday, November 23 contains a number of very interesting young jumpers. One of the most promising auction horses is the 3-year-old mare Tesla Z - a daughter of Thunder van de Zuuthoeve out of the full sister of Janika Sprungers 1.60m show jumper Aris CMS. Tesla Z is also the half-sister of top talent Kaleche, who became British National Champion as a five- and six-year-old under the saddle of Ronnie Jones. "Tesla Z combines an incredible pedigree with conformation and talent. She has the mentality you are looking for in a mare; lots of confidence, super reflexes and an explosive print from the floor," Peter van der Waaij describes Tesla Z.

Three-quarter sister of Chaplin; the best dam lines represented

Another very interesting mare is Nacaltha WS - a daughter of Verdi out of the half-sister of World Cup winner Chaplin by Martin Fuchs. "Nacaltha WS may not be the flashiest jumper at the moment, but she certainly shows the right ingredients. We all know that Verdi's offspring get better with age and her dam line predicts a bright future," stated Jasper van der Waaij on behalf of The Youngsters Auction.

The best dam lines are represented in this year's collection; Andiamo's Asca Z is bred out of the sister of Sea Coast Pebbles Z and Aristo Z, Nevera Z is a daughter of Chacoon Blue out of the same dam as Grand Prix show jumpers Bengtsson and I'm Vera, the Highway M TN son Newstar is bred out of the sister of MacKinley, who won team silver at the Athens Olympics. Furthermore, the collection includes offspring of Grand Prix stallions such as Comme Il Faut, Grand Slam VDL, Apardi and Maloubet de Pleville, as well as talents of upcoming stallions such as Ibolensky, Matisse de Mariposa and Nestor de Mariposa.

Cian O'Connor on reference Leicester: 'One of the best young horses I've seen in years'In recent years, references have put The Youngsters Auction on the map: Je T'Aime Z broke through at Grand Prix level with Giampiero Garofalo, Karanza won test after test with Jaroslaw Skrzynczynski and Calvin, Quantro and Lamira all competed at the FEI World Championships for Young Jumpers in Lanaken in 2021. Lamira reached the final under Maartje Verbeckmoes and Quantro showed tremendous power with Tobias Thoenes. Both Lamira and Quantro were sold as three year olds in The Youngsters Auction and the same goes for the exceptional talent Leicester. Ridden by Ada Braaten, Leicester became Norwegian champion in the five-year-olds and was subsequently purchased by Olympic medalist Cian O'Connor. "Leicester is one of the best young horses I've seen in years!" says O'Connor on The Youngsters Auction reference.
