Gregory Wathelet on top in 1.55m Le Saut Hermès

Under a bright sky and sun shining on the dome of the Grand Palais Ephémère the jumps were built at 1.55m heigh in Le Saut Hermès class. Jumping two round, it seemed an almost perfect performance for Belgium's Gregory Wathelet and his 14-year-old Iron Man van de Padenborre.

The pair set a double clear in 42.69 seconds. Aboard the son of Darco Wathelet claimed the +30.000 euro first price, while Christian Ahlmann settled as runner-up with his Belgian Warmblood-geldingMandato van de Neerheide (Emerald). Ahlmann crossed the finish in 42.84 seconds leaving Edwina Tops Alexander in a third place with almost eight seconds difference.

Australia's Tops Alexander completed the stage aboard Yuri Mansur's former 11-year-old mare by Casall,  Catenda.

With one jumping fault it was Sweden's  Angelica Augustsson Zanotelli who followed in a fourth place aboard Kalinka van de Nachtegaele (Epleaser van 't Heike). The top five was completed by home-rider, Simon Delestre and Cayman Jolly Jumper (Hickstead).
