"It's important that we are present at the various Spring Tour", says Johan. "Besides Vilamoura, I also visited the MET Tour in Oliva, Valencia and the Spring Tour in Carmona, Sevilla. This week I'll also be travelling to the Sunshine Tour in Vejer de la Frontera."
"For us, these diverse tours are a scouting trip for several new (young) talents. We love to invest in the future, which means investing in good horses. Furthermore, some of our own horses are competing in these tours and it's always fun to see how they evolve over the course of the weeks."
The Spring Tours also mean a lot of work for the Lenssens family. They spot about a hundred horses. "I check out thousands of horses during these competitions, for clients and for myself. So far it's been slim pickings. Right now we are still working at some deals, that was different last year."
