Verlooy was known all around as a happy man. In a recent interview, he said: "Actually, my whole life has been great. I've always been happy and satisfied. I was a happy child, and that's not any different today."
As a born entrepreneur, Verlooy was very successful throughout his whole life. He wore his smile as a trade mark and always brought a happy atmosphere. Just like his son and grandson, Jos Verlooy senior was a horse lover. He even competed sometimes.
The equestrian world lost a happy and kind soul with Jos Verlooy. Our hearts go out to his family and friends.
