Kent Farrington remains the World n° 1
After a month of results that included victory in the €300,000 Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Madrid CSI5*, it’s no surprise that the USA’s Kent Farrington has remained at the top of the Longines FEI World Rankings for the second month in a row.

However, the American Olympic silver medalist stands to have some real competition for the No. 1 position on the world rankings from Stephex riders Daniel Deusser of Germany, and Lorenzo de Luca of Italy.

Deusser, a former World No. 1 himself, has moved up to World No. 2 this month, pushing the USA’s Mclain Ward down to No. 3.

And de Luca, who has proven himself to be a true shooting star in the sport, moves from No. 6 to No. 4 in the world, no doubt helped in part by his role in Team Italy’s epic FEI Nations Cup victory on home soil in Rome two weeks ago, and it’s following FEI Nations Cup win at St. Gallen this past weekend.
