Kevin Staut and Julien Epaillard face alleged fraud charges
Two of France's elite top showjumpers are being prosecuted for possible fraud. According to the French website actu.fr both Kevin Staut and Julien Epaillard might have cheated with their taxes. Their name has also come to light in a file about fraud.

The former world's no 1 showjumper explains that his name was falsely used in this file. "When I first started my business I had to deal with foreign commercial activities. Unfortunately I got deceived when I helped out a friend in need. The goal was to make connections in both the USA and China", says Staut.

"I've had several check-ups and everything was fine over the years..", he explains. According to Actu.fr he would've received 1.133 million dollar for foreign activities back in 2016.

The sales of Univity, For Hero, Le Prestige St Lois and Quapitole des Forets are also under investigation.
