New talent for Harrie Smolders
A new horse joined the stables of Harrie Smolders, world number one. Next weed the Dutch rider will ride the ten year old BWP-gelding Icon d'Or (Tinka's Boy x Querlybet Hero) for the first time. They will start at the national Gold League show at Stal Vanderhasselt in Ternat, Belgium.

Icon d'Or was bred by Raymond De Grave and has Ballerina DC as grand dam, the mare was successful under the saddle of Philippe and Thibault Le Jeune. Ubaya-DC is also seen in the gelding's pedigree. This mare was also the dam of Gregory Wathelet's champion Forlap DC.

Icon d'Or was ridden by Tim Wilks before, their last performance was in April in Opglabbeek. He also performed on 1.50-1.60m level with Wilks, Theodore Boris and Denis Lynch in the saddle.
