It is official. The Swiss rider Janika Sprunger has confirmed that her tophorse Palloubet d'Halong (Baloubet du Rouet x Muguet du Manoir) has been sold to Jan Tops' stables. At the moment the chestnut is still stables a Sprunger's venue, however he will probably move today towards his new owner and rider Edwina Tops-Alexander. The 10-year-old jumper has been ridden by Sprunger since he was six years old. The pair rode towards a second place in the Grand Prix of Aachen and had a double clear round at the Nations Cup of La Baule and Rotterdam. Last month they jumped to a seventh place at the European Championships in Herning, Danmark.
Tops has bought Palloubet for an amount around 11.000.000 euro's, although that is what is whispered.
