Riesling du Monselet retires from the sport
Riesling du Monselet (Kashmir van 't Schuttershof x Laeken) will retire from the sport and will be further used for breeding. That is what rider Gregory Wathelet and Pierre Paindaveine let Studforlife know.

After a successful career the 16-year old sBs stallion will move to studfarm La Giuellerie. Riesling du Monselet was already a top horse at young age when he was ridden bij French rider Grevory Robin. The pair competed at several international youngers tours and made their way up to CSI3* level. Then it was Ukrain rider Alisa Danilova who took over the ride before he got sold to Gregory Wathelet in 2012. He then competed on the highes level with the Kashmir van 't Schuttershof son and won many great competitions like the Grand Prix of Le Mons.

"It is not often that I have a horse retire. Most times they get sold before" Wathelet said. " Riesling du Monselet is special for me. Five year ago i started to ride him and we had some amazing results. He has earned his retirement!
