Sand Surface for main arena Tops International Valkenswaard

Ahead of the Longines Global Champions Tour and Global Champions League of Valkenswaard  there will be a change to the surface of the main competition arena which will now be a sand surface rather than the regular grass surface. It is our intention to return the main arena to a grass surface in 2018.

Our commitment is always to try to deliver the best possible conditions and, therefore, the decision was taken this year to change from a grass to sand surface to guarantee excellent footing for the competition horses.
