The fillies were once again at the party on this second day of sales. The auction got off to a strong start, with Top Lady van't Roosakker, sister of the previous day's top price filly Capriola van 't Roosakker Z, which set the evening on fire. This time Ireland took its revenge on the previous day by winning its battle against France and Germany for this daughter of Kassandra van 't Roosakker - herself the full-sister to Kent Farrington's crack mare Kaprice van 't Roosakker and Zangersheide's stallion Kassander van 't Roosakker. Kassandra herself will be offered for sale on the final day of our auctions.
However, it is still the previous night's star Gatoucha van't Roosakker who is the trustee of the Top Price through her granddaughter Datcha Queen Hero Z (Dominator 2000 Z x Aganix du Seigneur). This product from the cross of two great sires of Zangersheide and the new star of Paris Sellon, Attoucha van't Roosakker, will finally go to The Netherlands after a bid at 90,000 euros and a fight against Belgium.
Holland was in good shape yesterday. After a battle between several French and German investors, The Netherlands won again securing Kassama Hero Z (Kassander van't Roosakker x Darco). Kassama is the uterine sister of Chaccana Hero Z, Zangersheide's Top Price of 80,000 euros at the Quality Auction, and also the Olympic jumper Tic Tac du Seigneur. She is also a daughter of the international mare Panama du Seigneur.
France is not to be outdone, however, since the embryo of Heartbreaker with the famous sister of London, Quasibelle du Seigneur, will go to France for 36,000 euros. The Stud Hero Unique & Total Auction is now halfway through. The auction will start tomorrow for the second half of our auction, which will close on the 29th and 30th of December.
