The New York Empire lead the way in the first round of the GCL of Monaco

In Monaco the first round of the Global Champions Tour just took place, Scott Brash and David Will rode their team to the victory. Aboard Hello Forever (For Pleasure) and Deluxe Ilton (Cooper vd Heffinck) they were the fastest duo to stay clear.

The Scandinavian Vikings were runner up, Geir Gulliksen (VDL Groep Quatro) and Leopold van Asten (VDL Groep Miss Untouchable) also stayed clear but were just a bit slower than Brash and Will.

The Rome Gladiators joined them on the podium, also without any penalties. Constant van Paesschen (Jilbert van 't Ruytershof) and Marlon Modolo Zanotelli (Rock'n Roll Semilly) rode for their team in this first round.
