The show jumping world says goodbye to Glock's London next week in Geesteren
All good things come to an end ... Just like the partnership between Glock's London and his rider Gerco Schröder. The GHPC just announced that the fearless 17-year-old stallion London will say goodbye to the show jumping sport next week in Geesteren.

"London was one of the best horses in the world and claimed numerous medals, like two silver medals at the Olympics of London 2012. I'm very happy that we can give him a worthy goodbye at the CSIO5* of Geesteren next week", says Schröder.

The son of Nabab de Reve previously competed as Eurocommerce London. He was sold for the staggering amount of 8.6 million euros. Gerco and London didn't compete a lot over the last few years after all the successes the stallion had already gathered. Schröder deliberately only selected London for the biggest shows.

Besides the Olympic silver medal in London, Glock's London won a gold medal at the WEG of Caen 2014. Other great performances include the first place in the Nations Cup of Falsterbo in 2016, the Grand Prix of Salzburg in 2017 and of course the beautiful Global Champions League victory for the Prague Lions in Miami Beach in 2018.

The stallion will continue his career as a stud. On Sunday 23rd of June, before the start of the Nations Cup, Londons goodbye will be held.
