Top Stallion Cardento passed away

On his website the Dutch VDL Stud has announced the passing away of its top stallion, Cardento. "Last night Cardento has passed away in silence. Cardento has been a major stallion for us. In the sport he won three silver medals at the European Championships, WEG and Olympic Games with Peter Eriksson."

The stallion was of great value for breeding. He passed away aged 27 years old.

Cardento is amongst others the father of Carrera VDL, Grand Slam VDL and Dakar VDL.
