Oliver Townend on top of the FEI World Eventing Rankings

Although Oliver Townend placed second in the British Eventing Top Rider League, he did however finished in first place in the FEI World Eventing Rankings at the end of 2019. He maintains his top spot with 554 points. 

Following closely in second place is New Zealand's Tim Price with 542 points, while Australia's Chris Burton follows in third place with 515 points. 

Piggy French, who overtook Ollie on the British Eventing Top Rider League, is in fourth place on the FEI Rankings witg 504 points. Tom McEwen then follows on fifth place with 441 points. 

The US finish in the sixth and seventh place with Lauren Kieffer in sixth with 408 points and Boyd Martin in seventh with 394 points. Germany's Michael Jung finished in eight place with 377 points. 

With the countdown to Tokyo, we take a look at the results of the Japanese riders. Two of them finished well in the top 50 with a 17th place for Kazuma Tomoto (313) and a 22th place for Yoshiaki Oiwa (301).
