In Oliva, the highlight of a busy international weekend was just held: the Grand Prix of the Gold Competition. They jumped over a height of 1m50. Of the 49 starters eleven were able to jump a clear first round. A jump-off with eleven had to decide the winner.
That winner was the Italian Alberto Zorzi, who rode Cinsey (by Contendro I) clear through the course in 42.29 seconds. Nicolas Delmotte followed in second place. He was able to jump a clear round in the saddle of the BWP gelding Ilex VP (by Diamant de Semilly) and clocked in 42.90 seconds. Edwin Smits (by Arezzo VDL) and Farezzo completed the podium after a clear round in 42.73 seconds.
Megan Moissonnier (Cordial) and Harry Charles (Romeo 88) finished fourth and fifth.
