Sergeant Pepper I passed away

Aged 27-years-old, the Oldenburger sire, Sergeant Pepper I (Silvio I) has passed away. The stallion was mainly active with Gilbert Böckmann and Manuel Fernandez Saro in the saddle. In 2004 he travelled to Athens as reserve at the Olympic Games.

Sergeant Pepper I competed no less than four times at the  Bundeschampionate. Two times as showjumping horse, twice as dressage horse. Until today it remains a standing record.

At the end of his career he mainly jumped Puissance competitions with a record height of 2.25m.

As a breeding stallion Sergeant Pepper I leaves behind about 120 offspring including five approved sons.
