Given the current circumstances, it may be possible that the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses will not this place this year. The Swedish Federation expressed her concern in this matter. The World Championships should take place beginning of August in Verden.
The biggest problem should be the selections. The Swedish Federation indicates that it is not possible to have a selection of young horses by the end of June when competitions can not be held 'till the beginning of this month. "The question rises of a World Championship is possible after all. Maybe it is a solution to postpone it to the autumn, I hope we will have more clarity in a few weeks". The World Breeding Federation of Sport Horses and the FEI are currently discussing the matter.
