Daniel Deusser delivers the most clear rounds during the 2019 Nations Cup season

Pferdwoche has ranked the 2019 Nations Cup season's best riders. It based its ranking on the most clear rounds. As it seems Daniel Deusser didn't miss his comeback in the German Nations Cup team. The German show jumping rider jumped eight clear rounds. Steve Guerdat (SUI), Penelope Leprevost (FRA) and Paul O’Shea (IRL) follow as rank two with seven clears each.

Deusser jumped his clear rounds on three different horses – Scuderia 1918 Tobago Z (Tangelo vd Zuuthoeve x Mr. Blue), Jasmien vd Bisschop (Larino x Chin Chin) and Calisto Blue (Chacco-Blue x Con Air).

As rank five follows Peder Fredricson (SWE) with six clears, while eleven riders made five clears during the season: Olivier Philippaerts (BEL), Gregory Wathelet (BEL), Felipe Amaral (BRA), Pedro Veniss (BRA), Nicole Walker (CAN), Cian O’Connor (IRL), Shane Sweetnam (IRL), Paul Estermann (SUI), Henrik von Eckermann (SWE), Angelie von Essen (SWE) and Eve Jobs (USA).

PferdeWoche has put together the statistics from all the Nations Cups, including two rounds that counted for the team finals at the European Championships. The only Nations Cups that are not included are the 1* and 2* Nations Cups in Järvenpää (FIN), Tashkent (UZB), Moskau (RUS) and Bojourishte (BUL).
