This week the participating countries for the Nations Cup will battle a last time in order to get qualified for the Nations Cup Finale in Barcelona at the end of September. We provide an overview of the current standings and the combinations at the start for this CSIO5* event.
Dublin is the place to be this week for the last qualifier for the teams in Europe Division 1, before the series concludes with the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup Final in Barcelona. German is currently leading the ranking, followed by Belgium. The Netherlands has to share their third position with France.
It's the countries under the top 2 (so excluding Germany and Belgium) that are allocated to take some points in this last qualifier in order to get a ticket for the finale, as they will get competition from outside the Europe Division coming from Brazil and USA.
We expect to see a great show with big names such as home heroes Conor Swail (IRL), Cian O'Connor (IRL), Denys Linch (IRL) and Bertram Allen (IRL). But also guests as Steve Guerdat (SUI), Martin Fuchs (SUI), Laura Kraut (USA),... will attend the event.
