Solid Gold Z and Ahlmann takes 7 yo World Championship in Zangersheide

With 11 combinations going into the jump off of the 7 year old horses, the World Championship for Young Horses has closed. It was eventually Zangersheide - rider Christian Ahlmann who took the first price with Solid Gold Z. They took the gold medal in a time of 38,34 seconds. Willem Greve is the reserve-champion with Grandorado TN, the horses who he teached everything himself and rode a jump off in 39,49  seconds. This pair stayed before Belgians Gudrun Patteet and her Crystal de L'eau who took the bronze in 39,50 seconds.

First in the jump off was Olivier Philippaerts with the Plot Blue - mare Northern Comme Plot. They had one down and in a time of 39,39 seconds, they eventually took the 7th spot.

Christian Ahlmann with his Solid Gold Z (Stakkato Gold) rode a fast and clear round in 38,34 seconds. Willem Greve and his KWPN-mare Gogo (VDL Zirocco Blue) rode also very fast in the jump off but had one down and took the 9th place. Julio Aras and Quicksilver (Quaid) had also one down in the jump off and ended eventually on place five.

Gudrun Patteet and Crystal de L'eau (Clapton) rode fast in 39,50 seconds and went clear and took the bronze medal. Willem Greve and Grandorado TN (Eldorado vd Zeshoek) cleared the jump off in 39,49 seconds and ended on the second place. The last combination in the jump off, Charlotte Bettendorf and her KWPN mare Gaesbekers Glamour Girl (Zirocco Blue VDL) rode very fast in 37,04 seconds but had one down and took eventually the fourth place.
