Sweden and Julien Epaillard hold on leading positions at World Championships showjumping

It was a difficult second round at the FEI World Equestrian Games in Herning. In the individual ranking France's Julien Epaillard holds on the lead, while there is no holding back team Sweden who - one day ahead the team finals - stays on top of the ranking.

Epaillard explained after his round it wasn't his best round ever. "My mare, ( Caracole de la Roque., red.) wasn't very easy today," states Epaillard. "She was very hot and I actually had no control today. But she is an amazing mare, I can count on her. As long as I don't forget this is a championship where a lot can change during the days, we might still have a chance..."

In the individual ranking almost nothing changed in the top five. Scott Brash and Hello Jefferson (Cooper vd Heffinck) remain in second position ahead to Sweden's Peder Fredricson with H&M All In (Kashmir van Schuttershof) and Henrik von Eckermann aboard King Edward (Edward).
