The Coronacrisis does not only impacts us, humans, but the horses feel the impact of the lockdown measures as well. Niels Bruynseels, one of Belgiums bests, confirms that: "The horses are losing their pride".
"The biggest advantage of this crisis is that I have more time for the younger horses", the multiple CSI5* Grand Prix winner saus. "But I see that my top horses are also affected in this crisis, the start to lose their pride and the sparkle in their eyes. If you're leaving for a show, you can see that they are ready and eager to jump. They like jumping and they don't like to be home for so long. Of course they're treated like kings and queens here, but I can see that they miss a goal in life as well".
