Advertorial: Sale of the Rising Stars for wide audience of buyers
The Sale of the Rising Stars, the auction of jumping horses from Teus van den Brink, celebrates its sixth edition during the international CSI3* weekend of Indoor Drachten on Saturday the 23rd of January. Teus van den Brink has selected fourteen horses, of which he has high expectations.

“Last year the Sale of the Rising Stars ran overwhelming, thanks to the good references and people who showed faith in me and dared to buy without trying the horses themselves. The selection standard was very high and this year I’ve been even more critical making the collection”, tells Teus van den Brink from Nijkerkerveen, Holland

The 14 selected auction horses are very interesting to a wide audience of buyers. “Besides extremely talented jumpers we have horses with a great rideability, who bring a smile on every rider’s face. You can choose from 3.5-year-old talent to 6.5-year-old horses with some international experience.”

On auction for example is Gezel (Zirocco Blue VDL x Indoctro), who finished in the top-10 at the 2015 ISAH Cup for four year old show jumpers. The pedigrees of the auction horses is full of performance. Froukjecara (Eurocommerce Washington x Casco) is a half-sister of the recently sold Grand Prix horse Appy Cara, now ridden by Ramiro Quintana. Glen Moray (Cassini II x Libero H) is bred out of the full sister of the Grand Prix show jumper Liberty ridden by Laura Kraut. Closely related to the top horse Nanta (Caridor) is Gijanta (Ukato x Celano).

Gradetty (Crespo VDL III x Silvio III) is bred out of the half sister of the famous Glasgow ridden by Norman Dello Joio. Ezivona (Vigaro x Elmhorn) is a daughter of the half-sister of the KWPN licensed Grand Prix stallion Unaniem AD. The dam of Genesis HB (Carrera VDL x Wittinger VDL) is a half sister of the KWPN licensed stallion VDL Durango.

Teus van den Brink is very pleased with the outstanding sport performances of formal auction horses. “Many horses have found their way abroad, have been sold with profit or have been selected for other auctions.” Four former action horses were finalists at the FEI World Breeding Championships Young Horses in Lanaken. Castlefield Denver (Quasimodo Z) won silver in 2013.
