Angelica Augustsson Zanotelli unbeatable in Helsinki Grand Trophy

The Grand Trophy was just held in Helsinki, a tough class over 1.60m height. The gold and 25,000 EUR prize money went to the Swedish Angelica Augustsson Zanotelli, who was the only one to keep an overall clean sheet.

Only four participants managed to qualify for the jump-off of this very difficult course, where only the Swedish Angelica Augustsson Zanotelli again managed to keep a clean sheet. Augustsson Zanotelli could rest assured of a brilliant gold medal in the saddle of the BWP chestnut mare Kalinka van de Nachtegaele (Epleaser Van 'T Heike).

Blood Diamond du Pont (Diamant de Semilly) knocked one pole down, but raced to a marvelous second place under the saddle of Julien Anquetin in an unbeatable 35.05 seconds. Just under two and a half seconds after Anquetin, Jack Whitaker also clocked in with four penalties, which gave him the bronze on the back of Q Paravatti N (Quality Time Tn).

The last jump-off candidate, Jens Fredericson, dropped two poles on Diarado's Rose Elith (Diarado), which was good for a final fourth place. Gerrit Nieberg closed the top five on Ben (Sylvain) by setting the fastest first round with four penalties.
