After the British dressage maestro appeared back in the ring for the first time yesterday with Glamourdale (by Lord Leatherdale), they couldn't have wished for a better comeback, and today they stunned ANYONE AGAIN. Charlotte Fry broke her personal record in the Freestyle, blowing everyone away while yesterday's entire top five was copy pasted.
Britain's Gareth Hughes was soon on top with a dashing score of 84.59% for Classic Briolinca (by Trento B). The combinations that followed all seemed unable to do any better. But that was beyond World Champion Charlotte Fry. The rider blew everyone away in London and bettered her own personal record in the Freestyle. With the beautiful black stallion she danced to a score of 90.995%. A remarkable achievement considering that her record of 90.654% was only set last summer in Herning.
Germany's Ingrid Klimke, who was one of the last to compete, was rewarded with bronze for her performance with Franziskus FRH (by Fidertanz 2), just like she did yesterday. The Dutch combination consisting of Hans Peter Minderhoud and Glock's Dream Boy (by Vivaldi) rode to again to a fifth place with a score of 79.305%. Germany's Helen Langehanenberg was again fourth with Annabelle (by Conteur) after they were awarded 82.135%.
