Before the Longines Grand Prix kicked off, David Will took home the CSI5* 1.50m 25 Jahre Derbt mit EN GARDE-Preis aboard of Zaccorado Blue.
The 1.50m high course was completed against the clock and saw fifteen faultless combinations. The fastest time was clocked by David Will (GER) and the Zirocco Blue son Zaccorado Blue. A gap of over a second kept compatriot Daniel Deusser (GER) aboard Bingo Ste Hermelle (Diamant de Semilly) from the victory.
In third and fourth places were Irish delegates. Denis Lynch (IRL) piloted Cornets Iberio (Cornet Obolensky) to third ahead of Trevor Breen (IRL) and Luidam's Warrior (Luidam Elite), who took the fourth spot. Jörne Sprehe (GER) concluded the top five aboard of Toys (Toulon).
