Emilie Conter announced the departure of Balento from her side to join British equestrian Christina Gachoud.
"Balento, where do I start?" Emilie recounts their proudest moments together, from individual and team victories at the 2021 Villamoura European Championship for Young Riders to their debut in Senior Nations Cups and World Cup events. Their journey reached new heights with a clear round in their first 5* Grand Prix together in Wellington, a testament to their dedication and partnership.
Conter acquired the white stallion in the summer of 2020 and began their journey together, rising from the 2* level to the pinnacle of the sport. Together, they reached the podium eight times, half of which were at the top spot!
"You are the one that gave me confidence jumping big tracks, would always no matter what go through fire for me, in your own special way. I knew the day would come for you to give that same feeling to someone else who would be lucky enough to be your rider (...) You made my dreams become reality. I can’t thank you enough for everything. It is hard to see you go, but I know you will get the home you deserve. You will always be my special one."
New rider, Great Britain's 26 years old Christina Gachoud, is super excited to welcome the 13 years old stallion.
