Henrik von Eckermann for twelfth consecutive month on top of Longines Ranking

Henrik von Eckermann for twelfth consecutive month on top of Longines Ranking

The new Longines Ranking for show jumping riders carries a lot of changes but still beholds its certainties. Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) remains steady at the top, while Harrie Smolders (NED) makes his entree in the top three, taking away Maikel van der Vleuten's (NED) title as the best Dutchman in the list. Julien Epaillard (FRA) still follows on two.

In this new ranking, the two frontrunners hold on to their positions. Swede Henrik von Eckermann does not have to relinquish his leading position for a twelfth consecutive month. Frenchman Julien Epaillard also remains at two. New in the top three is Harrie Smolders. The Dutchman makes a big jump and rises from place eight to three. Maikel van der Vleuten is thus no longer the best Dutchman on the list, he drops from four to five. McLain Ward, who was at three last month, moves to four.

Kent Farrington (USA) and Shane Sweetnam (IRL) make their entrance in the top ten, with an eight place for Farrington and Sweetnam on nine. Steve Guerdat (SUI) keeps on climbing and now stands on fifteen.
