The 1.50m class at the CSI4* of Hickstead was won by USA rider Julie Welles with her ten year old Ambra.

Welles was about 1.5 seconds faster than William Fletcher who ended second with Persimmon, a son of Salute R P. The third place was for Phillip Miller with Noble Warrior (Warrior). Ellen Whitaker (Jack van 't Katteheye) and Guy Williams (Cicero II) completed the top five.
