Julien Anquetin and Gravity of Greenhill lead French stage in GP Qualifier of Deauville Classic

At the Longines Deauville Classic, the gelding Gravity of Greenhill and Julien Anquetin won the CSI4* Big Tour 1.50m, which also served as a qualification for the Grand Prix and contributed points to the Longines Ranking.

The already seventeen-year-old BWP son of Nabab de Reve has been under the saddle of the French rider for 4.5 years and has already secured seven victories together. The duo finished just under a second ahead of compatriot Megane Moissonnier and Bracadabra (by Pacific des Essarts), who came second. The third place was also taken by a French combination, with Paul Delforge and Energika des Neyes (by Quick Star) claiming it.

In fourth and fifth places, two Zangersheide horses emerged. Fourth place was claimed by Simolo de La Roque Z, an eleven-year-old gelding by Spartacus TN, ridden by Victor Bettendorf (LUX). The ten-year-old stallion Quark de Preuilly Z (by Quaprice Boimargot Quincy) took fifth place with Mariano Martinez Bastida (ESP).

Belgian horses clearly made their mark in this event, as the BWP horse Kosmo van Hof Ter Boone, bred by Johan & Marleen Vandamme - Covereur, secured the sixth place with Jeanne Sadran (FRA) in the saddle. The top ten was rounded off by Hold Up di Vico P. (by Rubens di Ri d'Asse) ridden by Elian Baumann (SUI).
