Only six competitors managed to stay clear over both phases, with Khaled Almobty setting by far the fastest time with a chrono of 25.31 seconds. Almobty thus took the gold in the saddle of the 12-year-old Oldenburg chestnut mare Limonca (Limoncello II), outclassing his compatriot Abdullah Alsharbatly and the Belgian-bred gelding Kanabis van de Bucxtale (Contact van de Heffinck). For Jordan, Ibrahim Hani Basharat jumped aboard the 10-year-old Dutch Warmblood Henriette (Diamant de Semilly) to the third time and closed off the podium.

Omer Kareavli placed fourth with the Hanoverian stallion Policeman 2 (Perigueux), just ahead of H.r.h. Prince Mansour Alsaud of Saudi Arabia and the KWPN gelding Eamelusina R57 (Calvado F.C.).
