Irish rider Michael Pender won the 1,45m CSI3* of Vilamoura today.

Pender sent eleven-year-old Casanova van Overis Z (Casper van Erpekom Z) to the first place in 60,47 seconds, almost one second faster than Italy's Luca Maria Moneta and Neptune Brecourt (Cavalor Cumano). Laura Renwick and her Dutch-bred Dublin V (Vigaro) claimed the third place for Great Britain.
Omer Karaevli and Roso Au Crosnier (Looping d'Elle) finished fourth after a clear round, US-rider Michael Hughes and Lackamore Storm (Kroongraaf) were able to finish fifth.
