The PanAm Games kicked off with the Brazilian team leading the way after day one. Marlon Modolo Zanotelli and Pedro Veniss filled in the top spots of the jumping class.
The Zangersheide gelding Nimrod de Muze Z (Nabab de Reve, breeder: Eric Polfliet), ridden by Pedro Veniss (BRA), delivered a faultless ride and secured second place. In second place, we had the BWP gelding Kheros van't Hoogeinde, ridden by Rene Lopez Lizarazo (COL). This 13-year-old son of Echo van 't Spieveld hails from the breeding of Rony Thys and received his training from, among others, Jérôme Guery. The victory went to Veniss' fellow countryman, Marlon Modolo Zanotelli, riding the 10-year-old Deesse de Coquerie (Consul Dl Vie Z, breeder: Raphael Dulin & Annick Dulin-Legouil).
On four there was Eugenio Garza Perez (MEX) with Contago (Cornet Obolensky, breeder: Wilfried Sandmann). The top five was concluded by Amy Millar (CAN) aboard of Truman (Mylord Carthago).
Thanks to the results of Veniss and Zanotelli, the Brazilian team leads the way in the team competition. Colombia follows in second place and Canade takes third position.
