Phenomenal win for Jessica von Bredow-Werndl in Dressage World Cup Grand Prix Lyon

Fifteen of the best dressage riders have ventured into the ring of the FEI Dressage World Cup Grand Prix during Equita Lyon. The gold went indisputably to the German Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and the 15-year-old mare TSF Dalera BB (Easy Game). The duo set an astonishing score of 81.739%.

The jury was immediately unanimous about the winner during this magnificent Grand Prix. With scores ranging from 80.326% (jury at E) to 83.587% (jury at B), there was no doubt about the winners. Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and TSF Dalera BB thus created a gap of no less than 4.739% with the competition. Also the silver went to Germany, with Benjamin Werndl in the saddle of Famoso OLD (Farewell III) who managed to score a handsome 77.000%. Only the jury at H prevented them from getting a higher score. There was a less unanimous jury with Swedish dressage topper Patrik Kittel. He eventually took bronze by dancing to a score of 75.261% on the back of 10-year-old Touchdown (Quarterback).

Just outside the podium, Danish Nanna Merrald Rasmussen rode to fourth place with Atterupgaards Orthilia (I.P.S. Gribaldi) (74,369%), scoring exactly one percent higher than Germany's Isabell Werth and Emilio (Ehrenpreis) (73.369%).
