Richard Vogel, currently the top German show jumper (WR ranking 10), is the new rider and owner of the five-year-old rising star, Arezzo Man. He describes his future sports partner as follows:
"Arezzo Man is a young stallion in whom we have great expectations. He is very willing and incredibly motivated in daily work. He possesses all the qualities that characterize a top horse. He is powerful and careful, with a very energetic and fast takeoff. Aside from his willingness and all his talents, he is - although unimportant for an athlete but certainly not for a breeding stallion - a very modern, typical stallion model. Only when you dismount, you see how beautiful he actually is. It is even more enjoyable that he is not only motivated and willing but also looks beautiful and typical."
Birkhof director Thomas Casper discovered Arezzo Man as a foal at the foal auction in Riedlingen:
"Even then, he stood out for his beauty, strength, and elasticity. I am proud to be able to entrust such a great show jumping horse into these hands. Moreover, he is beautiful, has a top pedigree, and delivered top foals in his first foal season. Breeders now have the great opportunity to breed a foal from Arezzo Man and benefit when the stallion develops athletically as we all expect."
